IT Continuity refers to the proactive measures, strategies, documentation, and support training necessary to ensure the seamless operation of an organization’s IT Support Services during disruptive events. This involves detailed planning for maintaining access to critical data, applications, and services in case of Employee Vacation, Personal Time Off, or Human Resource Decisions. IT continuity ensures that businesses can continue operations with minimal downtime and disruption to their IT Support.
How It Works
DNS will document the company's IT Systems, Applications, Passwords, and Support. When an employee is no longer available due to sickness, vacation, or other reasons, DNS will step in and assist the company with IT Support.
What Is Required
The first step is to document the company's IT process, procedures, equipment, applications, and passwords. Quarterly, DNS will meet with IT Personnel to audit passwords, access, and discuss IT Support.
